Who operates Court Pilot

Information handled by the app
Court Pilot may store information supplied by league and tournament organizers, including:
- Player names and optional DUPR identifiers.
- Facility, league, tournament, team, roster, court-assignment, session, bracket, match-score, standings, and export information.
- Organizer contact information entered for a facility, league, or tournament.
- Administrator email addresses, authentication records, roles, and facility permissions. Guests do not need to create an account.
- Limited technical information needed to run, secure, synchronize, and update the service, such as app version, device platform, session identifiers, timestamps, and service error logs.
How information is used
We use this information to provide shared league and tournament workspaces, synchronize assignments and scores across devices, authenticate administrators, calculate standings and rotations, create brackets, generate user-requested DUPR-compatible CSV exports, maintain service security, troubleshoot problems, and provide support. Court Pilot does not sell personal information, display third-party advertising, or use information for cross-app advertising or tracking.
Sharing and service providers
Court Pilot uses service providers to operate the app. Supabase provides cloud database, synchronization, and administrator-authentication services. Expo Application Services provides app hosting, distribution, and software-update infrastructure. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to deliver and secure those services.
League information marked visible to guests can be viewed by people using Court Pilot without an administrator account. Administrator permissions control who can change facilities, leagues, tournaments, rosters, and scores. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the service, or others.
DUPR identifiers and exports
Organizers may enter a player's DUPR identifier so it can be included with completed match information. Court Pilot creates a CSV only when an administrator chooses to export selected games. The administrator then controls where that file is shared or uploaded. Court Pilot does not directly submit match results to DUPR in the current release.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Shared workspace information is stored in Court Pilot's cloud service and may also be cached on a device to improve availability and performance. Information is retained while it is needed to operate the workspace, preserve completed match and export records, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Authorized administrators can remove or archive many records in the app. A deleted player who appears in completed match history may be retained as an inactive record so historical scores remain accurate.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with Court Pilot, email bamiller816@gmail.com. Include enough information to identify the relevant facility or league, but do not send passwords or verification codes. We may need to verify the requester's authority before changing shared league records.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect Court Pilot information. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Administrators are responsible for protecting their credentials and for limiting exported files to appropriate recipients.
Children's privacy
Court Pilot is a league-management tool and is not directed to children under 13. Organizers should not enter a child's information without appropriate authorization. Contact us if you believe a child's information was entered improperly.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where it was entered. By using Court Pilot, users understand that information may be processed where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Court Pilot's features, providers, or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
